I just wanted to take a separate moment to talk to you about chronic pain as it relates to traumatic injuries. There are injuries that create pain that no one really knows how to treat beyond medication. A severe spinal injury would be an example of this. Although miraculous healings have happened before, usually a person in this condition lives with the sensation of pain their whole lives. It is important for you to understand, however, that this does not mean you have to suffer. It means you have to come to terms with intense sensation that runs through your body. When you are no longer controlled by your fear of it, it no longer controls you. Through meditation as outlined in the Art of Focus, you can begin to gain the clarity necessary to deal with your situation. Please don't neglect diet and stretching, however. They can seriously improve your condition. When pain comes you can choose to see it as a nightmare or a gift. Those who view it as a gift for their learning and mental discipline have an exciting road ahead of them! This is the road I suggest you take. Start by getting a doctors approval to take the Heal Thyself Series and also begin a practice of meditation. Join support groups that also see pain as an opportunity to grow. Make your life as beautiful as you can make it. And remember, as long as you still have the opportunity to give 100% of what you do have to the upliftment of yourself and those around you, you have everything you need to live a happy fulfilled life!
